FAQs

1. Can I submit old posts?
Yes, absolutely. We expect people to submit posts that are old if they don’t think they got the attention they deserved at the time. But mostly our bloggers like to write about current issues. So if your post was written some time ago but is relevant today, it may well get picked up by members of the circle.

2. When is the beginning of each week?
We currently run our weeks from Monday to Friday. You can submit posts at the weekend but we can’t promise to send them around the circle unless there’s significant demand. If that changes we’ll let you know. You can also advertise your posts by Tweeting about them and marking them #bloggerscircle.

3. How do I know I’m a member?
If your membership application is successful your logo will appear on the members page. You should receive a confirmation email with instructions of how to take part within 24 hours on weekdays.

4. What do you mean ‘I should write about a blog post promoted by another member of the circle twice a month’?
You should write a post on your own blog which links to the post that a member of the circle has submitted for debate. You don’t have to agree with it, just debate it and provide a link – or even just say that you liked (or disliked) it. Commenting on their blog doesn’t count and just providing a link shouldn’t really count either.
